How to build a second floor over my existing garage on home designer pro

I can't figure out how to raise the ceiling over my garage in home designer pro 2019, without having something go wrong with the rest of my drawing...Any suggestion???

If this what you trying to do, you have to add a room on top of the garage.

I would like to have the finished floor above the garage have 9 or 10' ceilings, it is going to be a master bedroom with bath and closet, and wanted to do some sort of either coffered ceiling or tray ceiling
