mlsthilaire
I am a relative newcomer to Home Designer Suite, so my apologies if there is an obvious way to fix this... For any wall cabinet I insert into my design it keeps putting a top crown molding on the top of the cabinet. Under 'materials' i can change the color, etc of the molding but i can't remove it or change it in the defaults to not have any molding. Molding is under a section called 'CA-73', whatever that is.... How do you make it so molding does not appear on wall cabinets in Home Designer Suite 2018? mtldesigns
Don't know about HDS but in Chief Premier, the wall cabinet specification, there should be a molding tab. Just delete it. The CA73 is the shape of the molding, many to choose from. You can set your molding individually (per cabinet) or by your standard default (the white wrench on tool bar)
Kbird1
Eric maybe right , you may need to choose the right Template , eg Cottage or Default or Urban Chic as I think Todays' Traditional and Colonial come with the Moldings. Hopefully you don't need to start again with the correct Template to get rid of it ....
