johnny
When you have a door and window next to each other in Chief, but want the "bumping" to tie the headers together, is there a way to eliminate the overlap lines? I know you can mull together, but then the middle casing ends up incorrect. Id love to be able to keep the doors/windows separate (as they are in real life) and get a single-piece lintel (casing header).

Hey Glenn - when you mull units together the middle casement ends up as a mullion more than casement - visually as well. (added) Playing around with this more, I guess this is an issue more when you have a clerestory above as well (which i often do in the entry). Not to much in the instance I show above - I agree, BUT the other problem is the window still becomes no longer an option, and there are some funny problems with trim being placed under the door.
