adding lites to ext. door

My client wants a 3/4 lite 3x2 pane Ext. door.  I am using a 3/4 lite door out of the core catalog and can't seem to get chief to enable me to add lites.  Anyone know if this is possible?

So you want to add lights to an E15.  Is that correct ?

Chief doesn't allow lites on all door types.  I think it only applies to "Glass Doors" but you can set the bottom "Panel Frame" to be different than the side and top frames so you get the appearance you want.

 

The other option would be to create a Library Door with the Lites you want.

Thanks for that information Joe.  Here is a link to my tutorial for placing lights into doors that chief does not allow them automatically if that is required, without starting from scratch to build a paneled door.

The OP might also try the E02 door.

You are quite welcome and that is what this forum is all about. If you read from the beginning of the linked thread you will notice that I started out with essentially your problem and decided to share the solution once I figured it out with the help of others.  Chief can do a lot of things that are not always obvious.
