Joe, Yes, can be done in perspective view. You need to select the room by the back wall, not the floor. And it really gets hard to manipulate things, especially if they are internal rooms. The ability to edit platform heights (along with being able to edit location of walls etc) in a perspective view can be useful for massing studies, but I don't really think it is practical for day to day work.
