tds_cc
I'm new to CA so please bear that in mind. I created two layout templates - one for our cover sheet and one for our title block. Only after I did this did I realize that I should have created the cover sheet and title block as two different page templates in the same layout file. My question is: how do I now merge them so that the two page templates are in the same layout file?
Alaskan_Son
Just group select everything on one of the two pages and hit control+X (cut). Now close that layout, open the other one, and hit control+alt+V (paste hold position). Then you can set that page as a template.
Chopsaw
Just one more tip. When you group select make sure you do not get the drawing sheet selected. Easiest thing would be to turn that off before selecting. Also being a little more conservative than Michael, I would select with CTRL + C (copy) just in case something does not turn out exactly as planned. You can always delete the original later when you are done.
tds_cc
Thanks to both you! Worked like a charm. When I tried it before writing the post, it was selecting the drawing sheet that gave me the issue. Thanks again!
