sdpatt
Working on an apartment complex. Multiple 6-plex buildings. The original 6-plex was drawn in detail, then cut/past into site plan. The site plan is now large (1"=100') and the program speed has dropped of dramatically? Any ideas?
yusuf-333
Turning the models to a symbol and droping it on your site plan will significantly speedup. Though you can improve it some more by turning some layers off before converting it to symbol depending on the level of detail you want on your site plan. I usually turn furniture layer off for attaining a workable site plan model.
Joe_Carrick
It's all about the number of surfaces in the overall Model. If you don't need the 3D of the entire project then just create Exterior Room Polylines for one of the buildings and Paste that into the Site Plan If you do need the 3D of the entire project then make a symbol of the building (delete the interior as much as possible to minimize the number of surfaces)
