sdpatt
I am working in a massive drawing with many buildings. I have accidentally hit the Automatic Exterior dimention Key which dimentioned each building. Is there a way to "back out" of this in lieu manually removing the dimentions from every building? Alaskan_Son
A few Options.... 1. Hit Undo 2. Edit>Delete Objects. Select "All Rooms On This Floor", check Automatic Dimensions, and click Delete. 3. Select one of the automatic dimensions, click on the Match Properties tool (Control+J), check "Layer", click Okay, and then hit delete. 4. If you want to be a little more selective, activate one of the manual dimension tools and Shift (or Control) select the desired dimensions (either with a marquis or one by one). It may help to turn off some layers for this operation depending on what exactly you're trying to do.
lbuttery
This may be a case where each building is done in a separate plan then saved as a 3D symbol and stored in the library then in the master site plan add all those symbols this is not required but is how I like to handle projects with multiple buildings it also allows for building roofs and framing etc independently Lew
