Anna_Gorres
Hello everyone, I have a few severe dips in my terrain. I imported a DWG and then manually set the elevation data. I believe it was a You Tube video. I believe what I need to do is to trim my elevation lines that exceed the terrain perimeter. I know I saw a video on this prior, but can't seem to find it now. Neither the break line tool nor the Control+3 allow me to break and crop the elevation lines. Secondly, I am an interior designer, not an architect, and am not at all familiar with elevation data/survey data/etc. I will be using these features quite a bit with my current employer. Any recommendation on how to self train?
Evolution
Anna, nothing takes the place of practice, and CA has a lot of great training video. Check these out at, https://www.chiefarchitect.com/videos/
Chopsaw
Anna, This may be the video that you are referring to that covers breaking and trimming imported elevation lines, which are much different than auto generated chief elevation contours. https://www.chiefarchitect.com/videos/watch/6082/grandview-how-we-modified-the-terrain.html?playlist=
