Scottb
Anybody have a good solution to fix this problem. I have a gable that is shared by 2 different roof heights. so I need sheetrock on the inside because of the vaulted ceiling and siding above the roof (on the rake) I tried split wall, but does nothing. I attached a pic. Thanks for your comments.
Evolution
Scott, you will probably need to post the plan to get quicker help, althought there are geniuses on this forum that may be able to spit the answer out quickly!
DRAWZILLA
Use the "lower wall if split by butting roof" tool in the wall DBX ,and if that doesn't work , just make that wall a pony wall and shape as you need it.,
Scottb
Thanks Perry. I have always struggled with this. It took some time but figured it out. The Pony wall didn't work. I had to cut my gable wall off at the peak, instead of going all the way across. then the split wall was able to work.
DRAWZILLA
Yep, sometimes you have to break walls to get the desired outcome ,even footings too b/c after all they are walls too.
