Marina
So lately I have created spaces with high ceilings, right now 15ft, and with large windows. Whenever I seem to add lights it has no effect at all. They are on and I tried the final view but I see little to no change. Is there something I need to do? jcaffee
Reduce the interior ambient light below 15% to make the effects from lights more apparent. Also, ensure that all lights not directly in the camera view are turned off, as most video cards can only render a maximum of eight lights. You can check your maximum lights by reviewing: Preferences>Render>Video Card Status>Max Lights. Any lights beyond your maximum will only render in ray trace. Dennis_Gavin
Also, make sure the camera shot is in the room with the lights. IF you have some kind of invisible partition segmenting the room and take the camera view from that area towards the open area the lights will not work except in ray trace. I post this because we do not know your situation
DRAWZILLA
You can also add "light sources" and lower them down to the level where they will show the light. You can turn them off on the floor plan or the renderings, kind of like invisible lights.
