Changing cabinet styles

I'm new to Chief, I'm using X-8

 

What is the quickest way to change the color of all the kitchen cabinets.

 

I just drew a kitchen with a light oak finish. I want to save that view and produce

another view with a darker oak stain. Is there a way to do this all at one time, or

do I have to do this one cabinet at a time?

Go to default settings.  Under cabinets click on materials and set it to the darker oak.  The other cabinets will update if they were placed as default cabinets.  In many cases it is faster to use the material painter.  If you want both versions, you should save it as two separate plans.
