Drywall not generating on short wall?  I know this has come up before and I was looking for the definitive explanation on how to solve this condition so drywall wraps the end of the wall?bath half wall.pdf

I made the jump from x11 to 12 and did not pay to much attention to the migration and somehow many of my previous settings are either gone or disrupted.  In my toolbar for views it says None and I'm not sure how to change this and the walls no longer have color.  I reset preferences and it is still different.  Does anyone know how to revert back?

hello, I'm posting a copy of my current dilemma...I have a small section on the second floor of this house that I cannot get the siding color to change like I did at every other part of the house.  I deleted it, tried to paint it, looking for the dbx that controls this section?  any thoughts?

Ok, so I can usually fix these problems on my own but why is this wall showing up with siding?  It's an interior 4" wall, I have checked it and wall types?  It's still generating siding...?

I'm asking for a critique and improvement of my addition foundation plan.  At the moment I'm searching for a way to change the beam in place to a triple 2x10 or 12 with posts and footings to support the floor.  I can't find a dialogue box to open?  I will ask for other suggestions to if anyone can offer some suggestions.

Rob, how do you get the stairs to show in both 1st and 2cd floor plan views?

just had to delete it altogether...not just deselect it

Thank you, somehow I had lost it temporarily.  Even though the baseboard is unchecked for this room it is still generating around this space in camera view.  I'll get a picture posted.

So I have the stairs and rails in place and the camera views working properly.  The stairs are in place in plan view on the first floor...how does one get the stairs to show up on the second floor separate from the layering tool?

My latest project has some challenges which is great.  Here is the latest one that I'm working on, a switch-back stair with landing.  How do I get the stair hole to generate?  Is this a removal of floor area to do this, see screen shot.

So, progress....the ridge's line up, the overhangs are even, however the frieze on the smaller portions are taller...not sure what is causing this or how to adjust it....

Bay window and garden window....  I was able to find a box/garden window component to import and now I'm off to building a bay window manually.  The roofs are close but still difficult to connect properly.  I can't select the baseline handle of the right side roof plane in plan view.  Even when I select next object?

I'm trying to find instructions on making a Garden window or Box window.  I have found a few different videos on Bay windows and am reading the reference book and I have the windows, the height and roof all on but I cannot get the window frames in the corners just yet.  I would like to finish making it myself manually for the training but would also like to find an imported component if possible for future project.

Still a wrinkle in the wall of this room over the garage.  It seems to be created by a wall intersection on the other side but I can't quite understand how to correct it or what is controlling it.
