Ty Eric, is there a way to reset the window schedule to start fresh?

Yes, perhaps I'm not articulating the problem. I'm selecting a window object in plan, say w-6, I open, type in the comment and the program is not entering the comment on w-6, it is reassigning the window to w-16,17,18, or nineteen and leaving line w-6 blank... ?

Now that social distancing has set in I'm starved for attention....

I'm trying to add notes to a window schedule with the plan open....when i select a window that already has a label a new label is being created with a new number. So I was able to add comments to windows one through five, then at six the note did not populate but added a window number 17....i only had 14 window numbers to begin with... it feels like a Microsoft auto formatting feature that I don't know how it was turned on or why it is functioning the way it is...I add a note to w7 and then it shows up as window 19....Arg....why? how do we trouble shoot these issues...the CA produced videos don't seem to cover anything like this... Closed and reopened the plan and now window w-6 is gone...lol....did the corona virus take it away... BRESNAHAN-N.plan

Good morning, My design sheet is 24 x 36 and all is good but when I want to send that to print on an 11 x 17 paper is there a way to do this and have the dimensions print larger? I'm looking for video or reference set to this and I am running x 12 now.

How does one shut off a pattern in elevation view? I'm looking to shut off the roof shingle pattern in this view and then send it to layout and have it print without roof shingles.

Thank you rgardner, I figured out that my refrigerator is on my cabinet layer when I select it but when I uncheck the cabinets the cabinets are hidden but the refrigerator remains? So ….now how do I connect it to that layer if it is disconnected?

This was a good thread for me and really helped my understand how and why the layer sets work. I'm trying to take this a step further and trying to move my appliances deselected when I hide cabinets. When I deselect cabinets they go away as planned but the appliances remain even though they are part of the cabinet bases....How do I move my appliances to another layer? I found an old video but it does not work or things have evolved from x5?

I'm using x12 and starting a new plan the letter "E" and "S" are being displayed on screen.....what are these letters for?

Hello all, my second floor plan is missing walls in a couple places that I have circled. I'm trying to figure out why they are not generating in this view since the plan renders ok.

I ended up solving this issue by creating a soffit and then manipulating the size and placement. I would welcome alternative ways to draw this so that materials etc. calculate correctly. (not that a 4.5 strip of drywall matters...but...you know what I mean)

I made the jump from x11 to 12 and did not pay to much attention to the migration and somehow many of my previous settings are either gone or disrupted. In my toolbar for views it says None and I'm not sure how to change this and the walls no longer have color. I reset preferences and it is still different. Does anyone know how to revert back?

hello, I'm posting a copy of my current dilemma...I have a small section on the second floor of this house that I cannot get the siding color to change like I did at every other part of the house. I deleted it, tried to paint it, looking for the dbx that controls this section? any thoughts?

Ok, so I can usually fix these problems on my own but why is this wall showing up with siding? It's an interior 4" wall, I have checked it and wall types? It's still generating siding...?

Hello, I'm asking for a critique and improvement of my addition foundation plan. At the moment I'm searching for a way to change the beam in place to a triple 2x10 or 12 with posts and footings to support the floor. I can't find a dialogue box to open?
