The problem is I have something in Tokyo so it is messing up the model. Now I can at least find the offending item I will be good to go.
Thanks Mick for looking into this.... (look closer, you will see the black line are offset from the colored shapes)

Anybody seen this? Shadow effect,
by the way, what is the site to report this to CA.

Larry, I remember having your issue a few years back. I do not remember how I solved it……

Yeah, that is what I came up with, your foundation wall was inline with the finish of the wall above..... Robert is muy rapido

Nice! thanks guys,I had not thought of that.

I would then take the little wall that Eric created and put it on floor (attic) above so it would not show in the second floor.

I tried the PLAN FOOTPRINT tool in another life and there were severe limitations (or I did not know how to use it).
When CA gave us the ability to use ref sets and multiple ref sets, the plan footprint tool seems obsolete.
I think the only advantage of the plan footprint tool is you can rotate the site plan without rotating the plan itself..... which is nice but somehow I have not needed that functionality....

Scott,
FWIW, I now include all of those calculations (pluss a lot more) in predefined macros.
That is great Joe. I am still surprised CA does not have that in the program. For those newer folks out there, both Joe and The Alaskan Son have their own methods of figuring out these values and they are a god send.
I believe Joe uses layers and Perry loves the system. I use Michaels' and I love his method (because I know it now).
If any of you guys out there need this functionality, the two guys Mentioned above are the go to guys.

It can be up to many meters off……. Not worth trying

Just change the room's ceiling material. And make sure the roof plane has "Use Room Ceiling Finish" checked.
that is the best way,

As Michael said, only one wall should be defined as no room def.

Hello- Does anyone know how to update layout page information in X13? I always had a button in my tool bar that I used to edit the information for the page.. the macros in the title block would update to show the new information. I can't find the button any longer... It looks like the button that is still there, but now the button says "Modify the layout lines in an elevation..."
Any help would be appreciated!
WEll.... I have found the most efficient and fastest way is to relink the file to layout. Yeah, ain't that a pistol. BTW, I never use the PB.

Post the plan.
I vaguely remember seeing this or similar more than a few years ago, but can't for the life of me remember the exact cause.
It was something like a room with a higher ceiling, or a taller door, or.........
I won't be able to sleep now!
I vaguely remember this also. I think/thought it was fixed.
I bought new 27"MAC..... should I exchange for better IMAC

Ryan, is the lack of memory (8gb vs 16 gb) the reason for the machine being slow?
Is the reasoning being that CA can only use 8gb, so if anything else is going on, CA will be slower?
BTW, The only reason I did not upgrade to the best was it was a special order and I needed the machine ASAP.
If you can tell me that the lack of memory is the reason for being sluggish, I will upgrade today.
thank you for your input.
