I use 2d often in details because of horizontal framing in pole structures, SIPs or panelized construction. Yes I know horizontal framing can be done with 3d if you are retired and are bored. All the tools Joe listed are sufficient.

New const verses existing and YES I do like the whity banter we enjoy here. Missed the boat and the bus. I used 1/16" invisible wall for room definition and didn't want the scars left from a normal width wall.. I'm clearly not qualified. Notice opening further back in my photo, it's a doorway, just like Jon uses. Mr. Hall please forgive me.

Very nice project and Micks wall looks great. Be sure and center foundation wall on footing, wall dbx under foundation. As Mr. Hall would say " accurate model".

Wow that's a kick in the pants. I just did same, shut down and re opened. Could not get library browser to come back home without grabbing it from 2nd monitor.

break wall at steeple and exterior walls at both corners. Several options, rotate wall, make new wall type with siding on both sides or wall material definition tool.

Mine are all older version (7-10) plans opened in 17. I found a fix for my truss issue.

Make a wall with one layer of screen, you can put doors and windows in, use PS for frames and mullions.

I copied and pasted your orig door in various locations. Notice it has only 1 trimmer and 1 king stud on common wall (what you wanted) but anywhere on exterior wall we get 2 trimmers and 1 king stud. Also copy and paste your slider door and only 1 trimmer there too. French door requires more structural support due to it costing more, lol.
