Hello,
So I am creating a lighting plan. I have indoor recessed 6" can lights. But I also have outdoor 6" recessed can lights. And so I want to change the "r" symbol on the can light to be something else so that when I create my lighting legend people can differentiate between the two type of can lights.
Hopefully that makes sense. I am new to chief so if anyone can describe how to do it in simple terms that would be great! Or any links to videos!

@glennw That worked! Thank you kindly! Its not that I don't like looking at color I am just coming over to chief from revit and revit doesn't do the elev. etc in color so I find the color kind of distracting!
Thank you!

Hello,
I am wondering if there is a way to set your default settings to black and white? So for example when I create an elevation view of a wall - it is created in color and then I have to use the color tool to make it black and white. Is there a way to set the default setting so that elevations/sections/floorplans are always created in black and white?

Hello,
New to chief architect. I am wondering if there is a way to set the default dimensions to snap to the finish layer of interior or exterior walls. Currently when I dimension walls interior and exterior the dimension snaps to an inner layer of the wall instead of the finish face. I wan't it to snap to the finish face no matter what I dimension!
