Not sure If this is where I post this. I'm looking for a 60x42 oval garden tub to place in a bathroom rendering. Not a free-standing oval. There is not one in core, bonus or manufacturing cats. It needs to be a one-piece unit (square nothing fancy) with an oval tub. 3d warehouse/sketchup does not have one either. Does anyone have one to share or know where I can find one FREE? You are correct. I finally figured out the "path" I guess to obtain 3dwarehouse models etc. For some reason, It will not allow me to download a skp. file into my current opened drawing I am working with when I log in to Sketchup/Trimble free version online( not sure why) but if I download the collada file version I can then import that into CA. Now I'm struggling with exploding that model/symbol in CA so I can adjust it. I have noticed that many times the "explode architectural component" tool/command seems to not be available when I need it. Sometimes that command appears in my toolbar at the bottom of the screen and sometimes it is not. I will even open up my toolbar and hotkeys to search for it in hopes to add it to my toolbar and It is not in there. Apparently, the callada file I imported from 3dwarehouse is in some format that allows me to use the symbol change colors and textures but will not let me open explode it and change the structure. For example, I found the countertop I need but it is attached to a base cabinet I do not need. How do I explode anything I want whenever I want in CA?

Solver, Once I open cabinet how do I "Tab to select the sink-- or click the Next icon in the edit toolbar" What I did was select cabinet (that I already placed the undermount sink in) which opened the dbx and I do not see anywhere to select the sink that allows me to adjust z axis to the bowl itself. But I have been called blind, many times by my wife so...

I can't use an undermount sink because it looks like an undermount sink unfortunately. I tried to and when I changed the counter to a 1" thickness it shows an air gap between the bowl and top. Once you place a sink bowl on the counter it would not let me adjust the height from floor(sink bowl only) to close the gap This is just another reason I can't use an undermount

Thanks, 3d warehouse from Sketchup I am assuming? If so I cannot seem to download anything from 3dwarehouse. Sketchup is weird now, the free version is very basic and will not let me download from 3dwarehouse unless you upgrade$$$. I will try again but I have tried many times thus far. The free version seems to be controlled by Trimble and can only be accessed now by going to the website and logging in. I hate it! I can't afford another program

Did you ever get this squared away and figured out. I have about thirty houses I need to construct in CA for interior illustrations for the company I work for and ALL our windows have no casing only a stool with drywall returns to the vinyl windows. The only thing I have figured out was how to turn off the interior casing. The Jambs (top and bottom) are flush with the finished drywall after I do this and I need them to be set back so it looks like the drywall returns. I see no Jamb tabs in the dbx. to make adjustments unless they use a different term for jambs in chief. I need help with this because I do not want to retrofit each window for the next foreseeable future. I'm dreading making p-lines etc. when CA should AGAIN have these basic common options already done in the dbx (My opinion of coarse) If you know how to do this now can you break it down step by step for me please? I would love it, thanks!

Does anyone know where to find one-piece cultured vanity sink tops in the core cat? I can't find them. (A pretty standard item in America these days). I thought I saw them once. I'm using x11

Solver, Okay, that sounds like what I did before Thanks. As far as filling out my forum signature, how do I do this? I went to edit my profile and didn't see anything. Maybe I missed it?

First, I'm using x11. I'm trying to create brick sills and soldier brick to my windows and doors and I have read everything I can find on this subject and can not find an answer other than I need to create my own polyline or symbol. This is what I am currently in the process of doing now. I must say, I wouldn't have this if CA would auto-generate brick sills, etc. just like Casing, Lintel, Lites, Jamb, Arch and on and on. My point here is if they can do that they should be able to do this. CA does not allow for these trim components to auto-generate with an option to turn on or off brick sills and or soldier brick while in "open object". Seriously! Brick sills are used 100% of the time when you have brick around a window. Everything else seems to auto-generate in regards to windows and doors. I chose to create a solid for these components. It looks pretty good. The problem is, I need to make the brick go vertical and when I select the said polyline I created that I matched the brick material to the house, I edit it and change material to 90 degrees thinking it is going to only change the properties of this polyline/symbol but it changes ALL the brick veneer on the house to vertical. I do not want this! I remember having this issue a while back on something and I can't recall how I got around this issue. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong or can do better?

I just posted this problem I'm having "Trying to trace an imported dwg. floorplan. This is what's going. Every time I draw an exterior wall directly over the floor plan it always places the wall 1/2" off the wall I'm trying to trace over. I grab the wall and gently move it into position and the wall snaps to the other side 1/2". I have turned snap off but realized this is going to be an all-day task trying to manually eyeball all these 3-1/2" walls onto their correct position. I have an 8,000 sqft 4plex I have to create renderings for my boss. I really never have had this issue (to this degree) before. I'm in x11 version. I was using x7 an although I still had this issue I could still get my walls to snap to the line I wanted. Now CA is refusing to let me get exact positioning. Basically, my finish drywall will snap to the edge of framing face or snap to where I have a 1/2 space between the framing face and backside of the drywall. I need to be able to move 1/2" either direction here and its not cooperating. I need help. I have looked into default settings and there is nothing related to this issue that I can see. Any suggestions?" You mention in "6. Set the Resize About setting for walls so that you can snap to a special group of lines." Would this help in my situation and how do I do this?

Same way CA auto-generates cabinet/ drawer knobs to be placed in a general location to a cabinet/drawer. Then you have an option to adjust that downspout position. Maybe it auto-generates one on each gutter. Doesn't matter if it is in a dump spot like in the middle of gutter...right in front of a window. Just give me and to the option to turn off or on, move it to the left or right end of the gutter. I don't think that would be too hard to do.

Does Chief automatically build downspouts for gutters? I am not finding anything in options to turn them on only gutters alone. I would have expected this to be an obvious option to turn on and off just like gutters, frieze boards, etc. because of the fact that houses generally have downspouts...at least we do here in Tennessee.
