Did a friend of mine come to the party but left early ?
Don't understand this post. Does it have something to do with me?

Joey, how does that look in vector view, won't you have to delete any extra lines that show up on every window? then if you make any changes , take the extra lines out again.
I tried it with the pony wall and the vertical lines below the windows still show up in vector view also.
Bummer!

You would have to change your elevations to a cad drawings before you send them to layout so you can delete the extra lines or white them out in the layout once you send it.
A little extra work but apparently you have to choose your method to suite your needs.
If you use the pony wall you can eliminate the lines on the bottom section but not the top. That is why I'm suggesting to CA that they not only have a pony wall but a top section also. So the wall can be broken up into Top section, middle section and lower section (pony wall).

Thank you, I didn't know that it had to be set as a symbol.

Nice one joey, I like it!
Keep up the excellent work.
I have learned a lot from you
Thank You

I think someone suggested that before - but you should send it in anyway. It's a really good idea.
Just added the suggestion to the suggestion box.

Joey,
Could you use a Pony Wall at the bottom and then just use the WMR above? At least the Pony Wall would auto frame.
I thought of that but didn't really see the point of doing it if the top doesn't frame out. But once you have the pony wall built correctly there is no reason why you shouldn't to save a step.
This leads to another Idea that maybe CA can do;
Instead of just a lower wall section and upper wall section maybe they can add a middle also? It would open up a lot of doors for more options. Seems simple to add. Not sure?

I'm happy to contribute something! I have been more of a taker than a giver.
Thank You

Thought I might share my bucking window technique with the world.

Yes it is, I'm 6'7" and when I sit on a normal seat, my knees are in my neck Choking me to death. Good thing I can't bend over just in case I go to prison, but you on the other hand, field day.
Now I know why your head is tilted in your photo. You must be used to ducking.

First time for a video guys. Hopefully it works.
This is the way I think I would do the bucking window. It comes out right on the framing plan this way. Clean and easy to draw.

Can someone tell me the quickest way to change the cabinet materials (wood type and/or color change)? I already have the full layout done the customer just wants to change the color.
-
Typically I just put the number on the outside of the arch with no dimension line but I understood that he wanted the line with arrows. I was just trying to give him what I thought was asked for.

Thanks Guy's I can do it now. Part of me asking the question was to save me time. The customer is rushing this job and so you guys saved me having to spend hours figuring stuff out.
Thanks Again!!!

Joey,
Fencing Specification dbx...Rail Style panel...Build From...choose from Step Terrain or Follow Terrain.
That's the easy part.
How do I change the panels to a block wall instead of a wood fence? That was my original question. I told Glen I wanted to use the fence tool because I new that I could make it follow the terrain.
-
Is there a way to use the fence tool so it can follow the terrain?
-
Can I get some different ideas on how to build a block fence with foundation? I think I'm making it way to complicated.

I searched key commands on Google and even went into Microsoft word help to try and find something. I don't think there is a keyboard shortcut for that but it would be helpful if there was. Control arrow nudges the text or item but doesn't rotate it.
Bummer!
Will Somebody Help Me With This Bucking Plan?

Just wanted to make sure I wasn't out of line with something. A few posted comments didn't make sense and made me think I may have been duplicating someone else's ideas. Don't want to step on anyone's toe's.
