  1. It is the material region you used in that location to make the wall have a different color stucco.

I would suggest using a pony wall if you want this to look like that

I meant to say a wall material region tool was used, instead of a pony wall. if the face of the wall is the same you shouldn't get those unwanted lines.

  2. Brian,

Chief  has a bonus library called log truss components. if your pitch and length is a common one, they have pre made ones. Other wise individual logs to make your own.

  3. Hi Todd,

    Here is a repaired copy

The fascia hgt of the bathroom roof plane was off. (203 7/8) should be 204 1/2

I found the ceiling planes in the room next to this offending wall to be the problem.

Both planes are set extending into the wall to the exterior of framing layer. This is not the correct placement. Pulled the plane inside the room. left the base line on exterior of wall how you placed it.

I place my ceilings on the inside of the wall framing to start the plane.

  4. David,

Thank you for your time and expertise!

I have no Idea why it doesn't work on my puter, is it a setting in windows 10 maybe?

I tried a new download of calibz file and the plan.  no joy. this is the error message I get.

Try the backup entire plan, select the files to be sent to a zip.

This is how a sample file download from Chief comes.

I think since you copied and renamed the original texture file, chief has lost its link to the location of the texture.

  5. Hey fellow users

I looked at this again and if the beam pocket is no more than half way to the exterior of the wall. It doesn't cut the foundation wall.

I suppose this makes sense, most pockets are only 4 inches deep.

  6. Mike,

Here is a copy of your plan. If you look you will see that the room needs to be set to deck for the framing to be correct.

The Balcony Room setting was causing the framing to not generate correctly. If you reconnect it and build the framing again you will see what I mean.

Use the anno set - (framing) to view the framing on the 0 basement floor level.
