  1. I am probably in a slightly different boat as virtually all of the brand specific library items are no use to me. So I mainly use my user library, then if I gave to go find something specific I also place a copy in my user library for future use. For details I have 1 or 2 details per plan in carefully set up folders where I make use of the thumbnail feature.

  2. Plan revisions is the way I have always gone. It gives you the history, a place to go back to if you have a disaster, or the client changes their mind back to plan 1.

Just had that happen this week, did a major redesign then got a call "we want to go back to the original brief". It just cost them the extra redesign time, as all I did was open the last original design did a save as and kept working from where I was.

  3. Great we have established it happens regularly on the mac platform. therefore the 'bug' as that is what it is needs to be lodged in the bug reporting app on the website with all the relevant info. then it can at least be investigated properly. And Maybe fixed at some time.

  4. Post your file for others to try. That will either find the problem or eliminate CA so you will know it is a local problem.

I have no problem printing when I send the correct information.

  5. why not just adjust the baseline height, you know top of plate you should know the vertical depth of framing (tells you in the db)

Add whatever extra heel height reqd. Then when you draw a truss it will extend the bottom chord to form the soffit on top of the plate.

Or am I imagining s1246090559_Screenshot2020-10-29tuss.thumb.jpg.3c6b6c9aa553004816ec5fb25206d7c5.jpgomething else. we only use trusses here. no pitching of roofs except when using rafters.

  6. Have you tried using a pdf printer driver and not the CA print to PDF driver printing each page 1 at a time(which is a PITA). I have had pdf print problems in the past and they have always been a compatibility issue between programs. It seem different programs treat PDF's slightly different.

We are fortunate that we have to supply all pages as 1 pdf, it can get pretty large for emailing though. I did a little research on the project Dox program which appears to be a translator type program so yet another conversion ? of the pdf.

    Best of luck sorting it.
