DDD123
I am curious if anyone has created a siding type that has alternating widths similar to the attached picture?

johnny
I haven't yet but would be very easy in CA since, at this present time, Chief only uses a texture image for siding (well, you can add a bump map). So - just go download a tile-able pic (or make very quickly) of what you see on the internet and you'll have it.
Alaskan_Son
That particular instance I would probably just do with material regions, mouldings, or polyline solids. It would probably be easier than creating the texture, would be more accurate, and would look more realistic.
Joe_Carrick
I would use a molding profile. It would show in Standard Render as well as Vector Views. I'm not sure how that would work for material take-offs but otherwise.......
