JessCoville
Hello! I am new to Chief Architect and this forum and am looking to get started under the tutelage of someone who is willing to show me the ins and outs of the program but the issue I have is that I would like to be able to have my files open in the version they are using, namely X3. I have not been able to find a license for sale anywhere online and am at a bit of a loss as to how to proceed from here. If anyone has any advice on where or how I can acquire version X3 I would greatly appreciate it!
lbuttery
Jess: you can setup a seach in Ebay for Chief X3 and you will receive an email whenever there is one available be careful you don't pay too much $2695 new license - $1695 upgrade X3 to new license = $1000 so I wouldn't pay more than $500 or so for x3 it's too bad your friend has X3 as the library system in X3 is horrible X4 was a far better version but if you need to share you will need X3 Lew

JessCoville
Thanks for the replies! I appreciate the information, I think that would be the best route to get a copy of X3. Luckily, I think I may have found a savior in Home Designer 10 potentially being compatible with it and for sale on Amazon.com.
