  1. Thanks for the information, everyone! I have decided based on your input to just go ahead and purchase a CA X7 license as it has turned out that my tutor has a copy of X7 as well, anyway.
  2. Thanks for the replies! I appreciate the information, I think that would be the best route to get a copy of X3. Luckily, I think I may have found a savior in Home Designer 10 potentially being compatible with it and for sale on Amazon.com.
  3. Hey everyone, I'm hoping soon to purchase a copy of either Chief Architect or Home Designer 10 Pro and I need a little bit of information before I make the decision, so if anyone can help me out here it would be greatly appreciated. Essentially what I need to know, is to what degree are Home Designer 10 and Chief Architect compatible and/or similar? i.e. Can I open files created in either program in the other program? Is the toolset similar? Are there any major inconsistencies I need to be worried about? If I was being instructed on use of X3, how much difficulty would I have using Home Designer 10? Thanks again for any help you folks can give me, it would really be a huge help!
  4. Hello! I am new to Chief Architect and this forum and am looking to get started under the tutelage of someone who is willing to show me the ins and outs of the program but the issue I have is that I would like to be able to have my files open in the version they are using, namely X3. I have not been able to find a license for sale anywhere online and am at a bit of a loss as to how to proceed from here. If anyone has any advice on where or how I can acquire version X3 I would greatly appreciate it!
