tahoebrian5
Silly question, door opening headers have their own layer "doors, headers". What's the deal with Window headers? My plan does not have a si liar layer and I've got dashed lines at my door openings but nothing at my windows. Trying to decide how I'm going to show and call out headers in my framing plans. javatom
I think the actual headers would best be shown on your roof framing plan. Just my opinion
glennw
Door headers do not represent the actual framing, they are just dotted cad lines that denote that there is head over the door (as opposed to a full height wall opening). That is why they can display when no framing has been built. To see the door header framing, you will still need to build the wall framing.
