jcaffee
Trying automated road tools and a cul-de-sac/roundabout. Straight roads join properly if drawn vertically, but don't join if drawn horizontally. ???Any help, please.jon 20140407_CulDeSac_SNAFU.zip
inArtifex
What was the process, step-by-step, that you used to draw the roads? Also I have attached an updated version of the culdesac with all 4 roads... 20140407_CulDeSac_SNAFU.zip
jcaffee
I set a terrain perimeter; drew a CAD "Circle About Center"; Converted circle to Road Perimeter; drew Straight Roads from perimeter edge to circle edge until the snap "x" displayed. Vertical roads joined correctly. Horizontal; notsomuch. I see is your plan you converted to pline and connected manually. I guess that's what I'm need to do. So much for automation. jon
inArtifex
I first draw a straight road, then used the cul-de-sac tool and conected it to the first road, after that I attached the other 3 roads to the automatically generated Cul-de-sac
