jtcapa1
Does anybody have a good Rockery texture image I could use like I do with the Cultured Stone images for rock fascia? Trying to find a good looking way to create a fast rockery wall in the terrain.

Joe_Carrick
They actually look like they are right out of my yard. We built on an old granitic core of an ancient volcano. Wherever I dig I hit boulders ranging from 6" to 100". Our house foundations are secured to solid rock with rebar epoxied into holes drilled into the rock. jtcapa1
Thanks Jon, They have a great true 3d rockery wall that I just love using in my models, although I have reached a point of massive polygon counts which will slow CA down quite a bit. That is the danger with some of these cool Sketchup Models, they are memory hogs.
jcaffee
jtcapa, Layers are incredibly important if you do any detailed landscaping. I've used as many as 20 unique plant layers (and fixtures, rocks, riprap, etc., etc.) that get switched on and off depending on the poly "cost" and relevance to the property area being worked. The only time everything gets turned on is after I've positioned 3D cameras and I'm ready to ray trace. jon
