Rashid_Garuba
It is something simple as usual... Need to recess the vent like the window.. Thanks
HamlinBC
Create a window, and dbl click to open it. Under the general setting, change the window type to "Louvered". Change the size to be the size of your vent. Then under the options setting, change the recessed to whatever layer you prefer. You can set other aspects of the vent however you want to make it more closely match what you've attached above.
Rashid_Garuba
Hmmmm.... I will save it to my own Library.. Hopefully I can build any vent type from a window... gable vent for example. Thanks Jonathan.
dshall
What Jona-Thank did not explain very well is what your are recessing is the CASING. Suppose you do not have casing, you can control the recessing of the FRAME...... WINDOW DBX<FRAME, A definite distinction. Hey Jona-Thank, see you in Idaho. johnny
Just as a helpful point on the design, you typically wouldn't have full window casing on the exterior of a window/door/vent which is on a brick clad wall. I mean you can do whatever you want, but this is unusual for that condition.
