TomBiggs
I'm getting a weird effect where the lower wall layers are showing below what should be a solid material of stucco. Anybody have any ideas of what can be causing this?
Dennis_Gavin
Classic Z fighting. IS the plan far away from 0,0?<br />How thick is the stucco?
TomBiggs
0,0 is lower left corner of building. Stucco material set to 1-1/8". I checked video settings, acceleration, and left it set to be managed by application. I have a pretty beefy card. It's an AMD Radeon HD 7800, with 1 gig memory. TomBiggs
Actually....I checked it.....0,0 is about -28', -40' for some reason. Is this going to cause the graphic effect?
Dennis_Gavin
If you get too far from 0,0 there is more trouble with Z fighting. Not sure how far out it starts. There is another setting that helps but I cannot remember what it is. Maybe someone else will chime in.
Solution Kbird1 Posted July 25, 2015 Solution Share Posted July 25, 2015 Check the knowledgebase there is an article on "flickering" , for some it helps to set the clipping distance too 300" instead of the default which I think is 24 or 48"
