jwhdesigns
I have 4 licenses of X7 Interiors in my office. There are some features of Premier that would be an improvement, but most of the framing, exterior we don't need so I don't want to upgrade all 4 licenses. If we upgrade just one or two licenses to Premier, are the drawings still compatible with Interiors? Advice would be much appreciated! DavidJPotter
Yes, but you should verify something this important with Chief Architect Sales before deciding what to do. The plan and layout fines will be fine within the same corresponding versions. DJP
lbuttery
however, Interiors would only be able to view items that Premier has that Interiors doesn't best to contact CA's customer service as David suggested Lew
ChiefArchitect
Hello, Thank you for the question. There is cross compatibility between Interiors and Premier as long as they are on the same version number. As was mentioned above, if something is created in Premier, and Interiors does not have the feature (such as framing or terrain), the Interiors version will treat it like a viewer. For example, you can view the framing or terrain but not edit it in the Interiors version. I hope this helps. Feel free to contact us in sales at 208-292-3400 or email sales@chiefarchitect.com Kind regards, Derek Chief Architect Sales
