chiefstuckman
For example such as the one here: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/13/7b/29/137b292804bed88006f5beb5681763f1.jpg and more importantly here: http://www.customworldbedrooms.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/hinged-doors-23.jpg If it is possible, please could someone tell me how this would be done? Alaskan_Son
We deal almost entirely in totally custom cabinetry so I can tell you with a fair amount of experience that in my opinion this is doable but is perhaps the single most difficult thing to build with cabinets in Chief. Maybe someone else can chime in but as far as I know it can only be done with primitive solids, polyline solids, moldings, slabs, and maybe very narrow walls and doors? The latter just occurred to me… Maybe I'll try it when I get back to the office. Basically though the only way I know of is building them from scratch one way or another and not using any of the automated cabinet tools.
scottharris
For that type of cabinet, I would use partitions and a polyline solid, shaped, as slab door. You can create custom doors – here’s a video: video.chiefarchitect.com/?autoplay=10046
