DeveloSpec
I have a problem here...it seems more like a bug... I will explain in as general as possible. 1) i have an exterior wall of CBS 2) Then I change the stucco color..by painting it using a stucco material from library. 3) I change my mind of the wall type, select the wall, and change it to "Siding-6" But it does not change the wall. It remains the CBS. I know that this is happening because I changed the color of the stucco on the initial wall. But WHY would it not update the wall when I select and change it to "Siding-6" ? Is there a way to REMOVE the material that I applied on the initial wall? I obviously do not want to re draw all of my walls.. and I know that everyone must have encountered this... DRAWZILLA
I never paint walls, its always been a problem, you need to go and change the finish back to default conditions and then change the finish in the wall DBX or create a new wall for every different condition. Never paint walls other things are ok.
DeveloSpec
hey Perry, incredible that CA has not fixed this yet.. and glad that i am not the only one encountering this or else I would sould like a crazy person! But how to "change the finish back to default conditions" as you suggested?
KilgoreTrout
You changed the material for the "exterior room". Room materials always override wall materials. If you would like to change it back, you can either open the exterior room and change the material back to "use default" or use the material painter to spray "use default" back on to the exterior room.
