Attic wall Disappearing

Good morning, everyone!

 

I'm working on a covered walkway and carport addition, and I'm having a hell of a time getting the attic wall to cooperate.

 

The attic wall keeps disappearing, and I've tried adjusting the roof planes and repositioning the railing wall, but neither has resolved the issue. It seems to be related to the railing wall's proximity to the exterior wall corner.

 

I'm also having trouble with two other issues at the railing intersection:

• The exterior wall material is missing in the area shown below.
• The post size changes where the two railing walls intersect, and I can't figure out what's causing it.

Hi Jonathan! Try changing the railing wall type around the Carport (Floor 1) to Siding-4 (this will address the attic wall).

Thanks for the info, that did fix the missing material in one area.

 

The biggest issue is the missing attic wall at this location

In plan view on the Attic level, All you need to do there is grab the corner handle of the adjacent wall and drag a perpendicular section to connect them. Select the new wall and use the align tool to make sure it aligns with the wall below.
