Larry_Sweeney
I have two different elevations. I want to place the same note label on each elevation referring back to a single note. Is there a process to do this. I've tried looking for a video or knowledge base explaining the procedure, but so far I haven't found how or if it's possible. I know you can easily copy a note label in the same elevation, but I'm not having any luck copying from one elevation to another. I thought I had done this before, but then again, maybe not. Rookie65
Try copy on one elevation, then paste >hold position on the next. I do it on every plan Edited Monday at 10:26 PM by Rookie65 Word change
Solution PitMan71 Posted Monday at 10:37 PM Solution Share Posted Monday at 10:37 PM You will likely need to use copy (ctrl-c) and then paste (ctrl-v). Basically the same as what "Rookie65" said. The copy tool wont stay invoked outside the view its started in. You can use the copy and then use paste under edit to paste it in your new view. There are several ways to accomplish this. Give it a go and let us know if it works.
Rookie65
I find that paste >hold position works just fine from one elevation to another
Larry_Sweeney
Keith & Shane....................Thanks to you both. Yes they both work. I'm much appreciated. I would almost swear I use to just click on one, hit copy, go to another elevation and paste. Whatever works though, is what I'm after. Have a great day!
