Currently it projects into the roof. 3. A few other issurs on the 2nd screenshot. Screenshots attached. Zip file attached. PitMan71
You will need to draw walls in the attic manually above those gables and contour them manually. In the elevation add a break point in the middle. Then pull the middle and the sides down.
PitMan71
Delete the gutter from the roof object and that will take care of the gutters.
Solution builtright3 Posted Tuesday at 12:18 AM Solution Share Posted Tuesday at 12:18 AM I changed the wall to a baloon wall and then drug the handles up where I wanted the log to stop. Took me about 20 seconds.

I wasn’t sure what was causing the issue with the railing walls on the porch, so I went ahead and rebuilt them from scratch. Would you like me to send the file back with my updates? Also, it looks like you were running into the same issue I recently learned about. I had to turn off “Auto Rebuild Attic Walls” in the defaults—this setting can really cause problems on custom builds.
builtright3
I don’t think you needed to make that wall a balloon wall to get it up to the roof sheathing. It looks like the issue was tied to the “Auto Rebuild Attic Walls” setting. Once that’s turned off, you should be able to draw those walls in manually and have better control without needing to use a balloon wall.
