Layout Issue - Please Help!

I am trying to send different floor plans to scale, to my layout file to create a set of drawings. I send the initial floor plan to the layout, looks great. I go back to the plan view, turn off layers to show only my construction plan and send that to a different page in the layout. It then changes my original floor plan on page 2 to match the construction plan. I have tried all the different options in the send to layout screen. I have used "Current Screen as Image" which works but then isn't to scale. Please someone help I'm going crazy!!!

Use "Saved Plan Views" so all Defaults & Layersets are specific to that view.  Then send those to Layout on different pages.

Sounds like you're using the same plan view and Layer set for different views on your layout. 

 

Saved Plan views are a master toggle that allows you to save multiple settings into a single switch. It allows you to change what defaults are in use and what layers are in use as well as a few other settings. 

 

If you set up a different Saved Plan view, with the saved plan views having different Layer Sets applied, you'll be able to have different views with different layers on your layout.
