CElder
I'm having an issue getting the screen door that I created to have a transparent screen in it in elevation view. It shows as transparent in 3D but not in elevation view. My railing panels show as transparent but I've been unable to change the door screen. I've attached screenshots of elevation and 3D views as well as a plan file with the railing panels and door. I also tried manipulating a standard exterior glass panel door to look like the screen door but it wouldn't show through either. TIA for anyone who can provide some guidance! screen porch sample.plan

One method is to edit your screen material to have a white color in the Pattern panel, which is used in elevation (vector) views. Open the door object and access the Materials panel, then edit the screen material's Material Color to White in its Pattern panel: Your color editor may look different: Edited January 29 by Chrisb222
CElder
That didn't work - it just changed the solid gray to white. I just got it to work when I unchecked Opaque Window Glass in my rendering techniques for Vector View but I don't want the rest of my windows to not be opaque in elevations. And I just realized that was unchecked in my 3D view already so when I checked it, the door went solid. Is there a way to select which windows or doors are opaque without all of them changing? I can't find a way to do that for just the one door. Edited January 29 by CElder
PitMan71
Quote instead of screen try glass block material and make it really small.
