JKEdmo
Anybody having problems loading browser-based 3D viewer models today?
BenMerritt
I'm able to get a small test model to load on the 3D Viewer model management page. Do you have a specific model that isn't loading, or do all models seem to be affected?

I restarted Firefox which fixed it. - Jim
jtcapa1
My issue is that this viewer will not display more complicated models. CA should give us tools to strip these models down so they will load for our clients.

But, I agree that it would be nice if it didn't have a memory limit. If you don't already know, there is a desktop viewer option too which allows the client to view the full model in full detail. https://www.chiefarchitect.com/resources/viewerrequest.php Jim
BenMerritt
There are also some fundamental limitations on the amount of memory we can use given the technology (WebAssembly) that the Web version of the 3D Viewer uses. The mobile applications don't have that restriction. With Web browsers continuing to advance, we may also get to a point where we can reliably bypass the memory size restrictions in the Web version, but we're not quite there yet.
