Hi  I am attaching a vector view of a house I'm working on for new exterior,  How can I get recessed lights in the bump overhang because its the underside of the first floor bump out and cant install lights in the floor

Try placing them on the ceiling inside a room on the first floor and then dragging them outside under the overhang.  You might also need to adjust the height offset so that they sit where you want them.
