Hello, I'm trying to reproduce a flooring/room separation in an existing remodel job, as seen in 1st two images, with a room divider. Is there a way to get the room divider to attach to the corners of my two walls without doing the damage it does seen in the 2nd two images? It defaults to connecting to the midpoints of the walls & completely changes the length & shape of the half wall on the bottom end. Thanks.

In the field, what I'm trying to recreate.

Where I want CA to divide the room & how the room divider alters it once placed.

Also you can add a vertical piece of wall at the end of the half wall using the diamond on that end of the wall when selected. I know that sounds like a bandaid but it does work.

I've tried this a few times now & each time I either have to extend it out until it's longer than it has to be or it has no effect. Is there a trick I'm missing? Thanks.

Also tried switching the wall to room divider in the Wall Types tab but it always reverts back to Frame_Interior-4.

@KKBKeith

Hi KKB...

This is one of Chiefs week points IMO, invisible walls at a corner.  My work around is I draw two little room divider lines off of each end (circled in red), then connect with the main room divider line.  Some tweaking of the points to connect but it usually works well.
