PitMan71
Hey guys.... Is there some secret to rotating many objects at one time? In this case it's a detached garage. I have spent too much time trying to demystify the code. Seems like there are some items that when selected they make the rotate handle disappear. Anyway, any tips on that process? Thanks in advance. PitMan71
I think I figured it out. There was a piece of moulding that was creating the headache or so it seems.
Solution ChiefTylerL Posted Wednesday at 08:16 PM Solution Share Posted Wednesday at 08:16 PM @PitMan71 For scenarios like this I would recommend using the Edit Area tools. These tools allow you to highlight an area and then move/copy/reflect/etc everything that is contained within that selection. These tools are found by going to Edit> Edit Area Some information can also be found in this article: https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-02917/rotating-a-structure-or-plan-view.html I hope this helps! 1

Make sure to pick "Edit Area (all floors)". This will get you the foundation, roof and any other floors not shown. I use this also for a move command too.
