Wall Height between ceiling levels

If I'm not mistaken there was a time when an interior wall would frame to the lower of 2 varying ceiling heights. Currently, these walls now default frame up to the higher ceiling.

In the iamge below, I have 1 room where the ceiling has been raised by 24". I'd prefer the wall to frame to the 9' height, NOT 11'. And I'd prefer not to use a pony wall to accomplish this, althouhg that's probably what I'll do. Have I forgotten a simple setting somehwere?

Thanks for the suggestion @javatom. Unfortunately that doesn't change anything. In fact, I can't think of any instance where that setting has had any noticeable effect.

I will resort to using a pony wall or some other method! This is what I'd prefer: a 2x6 insulation wall over the 2x4 wall at the 9' ceiling level. And I'd just prefer to draw this 2x6 wall on the attic level. Using a pony wall on the main floor can have some unwanted display issues with wall connections and with room measurements that I'd rather avoid.
