CRichdesign
Hello, I'm looking for a way to set my dimension layer to its assigned layer set. I having to change my dimension layer every time I switch to a different layer set. For example, when I switch from floor framing layer set to roof framing layer set, I have to switch my dimension layer. It would be awesome when I switch to a different layer set the dimension layer switches as well. (Time consuming) Hopefully this makes sense. Dermot
As Mark has suggested, you can work much more efficiently by taking advantage of Saved Plan Views. Having one saved plan view associated with your floor framing and another one for your roof framing would allow you to work in either view without having to switch anything. Saved plan views will basically keep track of your layer sets and all of your active defaults so that they will already be what you want. More information can be found in this Knowledge Base article: https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-03185/understanding-saved-plan-views.html There is also a training video series that covers these topics: https://www.chiefarchitect.com/videos/playlists/100/saved-plan-views-layers-annotations.html
