Sascher
Designing a tiny home with no eve with continuous raised raised seam metal cladding roof and walls. Additionally have porch opening that extends upward to roof. I would like to place a combined header for all openings (1.75"x9.25" LVL) at top of walls and use this header to hang roof rafters (1.5"x7.5") with Simpson LSSR26Z hanger. How may I model this with Chief?

Good luck!
Gawdzira
Although you can probably get the the CA model to do this (maybe by changing the size of the blocking), this is best presented to a contractor and building department in a wall/eave section detail. In other news, the prevalence of roof overhangs through history was developed for very good reason. The depth of the overhang has a direct relationship to the longevity of the wall.
