CFaasDFCo
I'm sorry in advance if this question has been answered before, I just can't seem to find what I am looking for. What I am trying to do is, show the for all the windows and doors, on most layer sets just show the standard sizing (ie.3068) but for my window and door schedule layer set, show the label (ie. W01) to then show in the schedule listing with more details. Is there any way to separate the 2 to be on different layers?? Thanks in Advance

Thanks in Advance I think I understand what you are asking for..is this what you are talking about: 250414 (3).mp4 The Chief architect manual has a section on Ruby Scripting and there is a tutorial in the software as well that I suggest you work through. You can also use some sort of Ai to help you with scripting. I did write a Chief Specific Ai bot into my website at https://www.rabbittdesign.net/macros that you can try out, but like with any Ai it can be a fight to get what you want, this example worked out. For custom macros there are a number of users here that can write stuff for you including myself, Michael B Alaskan Son, Joe Carrick, BrownTiger, Solver, and more

Thanks in Advance As Rene suggested, I do indeed have some custom systems I've set up to do exactly this. That being said, Chief also has some built in non-macro based tools to do what you want as well. For example, you can navigate to the Labels tab for your schedule, set to Use Both Callout and Label, and then simply toggle the callout layer off for most layer sets, but in your schedule layer set, toggle the callout layer on and toggle the normal label layer off. Oh goodness, I have been working on this all day and for some reason until you actually typed out the order of operations I never could get it to work but now it does (so stupidly easy)..... You both rock. Thank you so much.
