ElkRivers
Does anybody know why sometimes Chief draws the roof as a boxed eave, even when I choose "Boxed Eave/ Flush Eave"? These images are of two different ends of the house; same roof plane. The one on the left is incorrectly drawing it as a regular boxed eave. The one on the right is correct, as a flush eave. I've tried deleting the roof and forcing a rebuild, to no avail. Is there a setting in the wall dialog that dictates this?
VHampton
It looks like the settings are fine. What happens on the other side? Can you copy the other roof and place it into position with the one which is acting up? It's hard to say why there's an issue, but if the copy does the same thing, that would help hone in on the problem.
tundra_dweller
Also check to be sure your attic or 2nd floor gable wall is aligned with the main floor wall below. Sometimes I will go up and delete all the attic walls and let them rebuild and that solves this. But sometimes it seems to happen for no explainable reason at all, although not usually on a basic roof like this.
PitMan71
Post your plan if you are okay with that. I have gotten quicker solutions that way.
