Molding intersection?

I am using the molding polyline tool to model HVAC ducting and plumbing. How can I create a T intersection in a polyline?

Do an L, then copy & reflect about ...

To clarify, can a polyline as a single unit exist in a T shape? See attached T-shaped polyline. Basketballman, your idea is a workaround, not an answer.Polyline.plan

You can drawn a L shape, then disconnect the new line in order to extend it in the opposite direction. A T will not work.

 Bad Example: T drawn by drawing the molding L line back on itself and extending beyond the perpendicular segment:

Robert, what is the name of the icon/tool your red arrow points to? I do not see that anywhere on my toolbars.

Disconnect Selected Edge. This tool shows up at the bottom when you single click on a polyline (needs more than one segment).
