Chief11ham
Hi Friends, I was curious if it is possible to change the 'Drawing Sheet' size when I 'Send to Layout' ? I can't seem to change the layout paper size from ARCHD to any other size (for example, I may find it helpful to print @ 8.5"x 11" or use another size ARCH drawing sheet). I can't seem to find any relevant answers for this yet in videos or chats, maybe there is a reason not to change it? Thank you
Solution rwdozier Posted Wednesday at 12:18 AM Solution Share Posted Wednesday at 12:18 AM If I understand you correctly - yes, no reason to change it, I leave my layout paper size to ARCHD for print shop 24x36 construction set drawings. I print it out to PDF as ARCHD. Then when printing in my office, the ARCD size PDF prints scaled nicely to an 8.5"x 11" printer paper. Hope this helps.
MoeGia
You can change the layout size if you'd like. You can create multiple layout templates if you'd like. The program comes with a number of different sized templates in the Data/Templates folder. To create a C sized template from your D template, open a copy of your D template. Go to the page settings (sorry not at my computer to grab a pic), There you can change the page size. You will have to relocate your title block, notations, any views, details, etc. to fit. Save as your new C template.
