Highlighting all doors using "Same As" to switch to all open or change swing angle. If doorways are selected, you can't make the change.

Hi all,

Highlighting all doors using "Same As" to switch to all open or change swing angle.  If doorways are selected as well, you can't make that change.  

 

Is there a work around for this?

 

It would be super great if these toggles ignored doorways so we could highlight all doors to make these changes globally without going back to unhighlight the doorways.

Try this:

- select the door you want to change.

- click on the "marquee select similar tool"

- click on the "restrictive selection" mode

- now draw a marquee over the whole plan and you should only get doors that are the same type

 

You could also make a door schedule and then remove most of the columns but add the "type" column (so that all your doors are grouped and sorted by door type) and then use the "open row objects" tool.
