Ringos
It is pretty standard in the US to have a closet shelf 80-82" from the floor for boxes and a closet rod just below that 4-6". This seems like it should work like the wall tool and let you put in a straight one or a u-shaped one. One should also be able to put multiple shelves for a pantry or laundry room or linen closet. Where would I find this tool?

It's ok for a one wall installation but Chief doesn't know how to handle the intersecting rods if you have closet shelves on adjoining walls. GeneDavis
It's not a good practice, and a waste of time actually, to do that with rod shelving in a closet corner. The clothes crash, and the hangers crash. I stop one of the runs 12 to 15 inches away from the face of the other. if custom building, it's OK to run the shelves as mitered into the corner, but not the rods.
